We have something
for everyone!
Whether you’re young or “old,” we are a church that has something for everyone to involve themselves in. From encouraging children to help out on work days to senior saints sharing their life experiences with young adults, CBC is a place to grow. Throughout the year, we seek to spread an umbrella of love over our entire ministry as we labor together for our Lord.
O U R P R O G R A M S
Children’s Church – This program ministers to children ages 4-11 with age-appropriate Bible Lessons, songs, and activities during the Sunday morning service. Nursery is provided for children ages 3 and under for all services.
Youth Ministries – YOUTHgroup is a comprehensive discipleship, evangelism, & activities program forf teenagers (7th -12th grade). Teen-focused Bible lessons are taught in Sunday School while Christian life lessons emphasizing practical spiritual growth are presented in our Sunday evening youth meetings. Our teen prayer group meets Wednesday evenings. Special activities and outings are regularly scheduled.
Adults – Young At Heart (senior citizens fellowship) meets monthly for breakfast. The Ladies Fellowship group routinely meets the first Saturday of every month. The Men for Missions fellowship meets for breakfast every quarter. Our church members routinely attend Christian retreats or conferences at other churches throughout the year. Central Baptist hosts a six day revival in January and a multi-church youth rally in February. Besides numerous fellowships, we celebrate our church anniversary in June and our family day picnic early in November.
Building and Bonding – Throughout the year, our members offer their skill sets to assist church members in various building projects and upgrades to each other's homes as needs arise. When possible, we take these skills to those outside our membership to assist with needs in our community.
S U M M E R A C T I V I T I E S
Each summer Central Baptist Church sponsors Neighborhood Bible Time. This fast paced week-long alternative to traditional Vacation Bible School is a highlight of our summer.
In July our youth group travels to The Wilds Christian Camp & Conference Center in Rosman, NC for a week of Christian camping.

Missionaries are
important to us.
Our congregation supports with prayer and finances more than 20 different ministries located in 11 foreign fields and in the United States. About one third of our church budget is used in missionary support and activities.
